The Academy

Premier Martial Arts Academy designed for you to learn and master the skills of Discipline and Self-Protection. The Art of Taekwon-Do was developed with a foundation in ITF Taekwon-Do and a combination of many self-Defense practices such as; Grappling, Kickboxing, Karate, and Hap Ki Do, to create a diverse yet sound curriculum. Our aim is to maintain the traditions and principals of martial arts while adapting them to the needs of the world today. All of our students train hard with an attitude of equality and integrity. We strive to build the basics of physical stamina and strength to disciplining the body while developing an indomitable spirit to strengthen the mind.


The International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) is an official governing body for traditional Taekwon-Do. All standards are those set by the ITF. Students testing under a certified ITF instructor / testing board are recognized Nationally and Internationally. Our members are in association with the founder of Taekwon-Do General Choi Hong Hi.


Tae – Jumping, flying; to kick or smash with the foot.
Kwon - Fist; to punch, or to destroy with hand or fist.
Do - Art or way.
Taekwon-Do: The mental training and techniques of unarmed combat for self defense as well as health. It involves the skilled application of punches, kicks, blocks and dodges with bare hands and feet for the rapid destruction of a moving opponent or opponents.
